Tell us a bit about you
I started with ASSA ABLOY within Critical Infrastructure back in 2019. After working in the global telecommunications field for about 20 years, and I knew I wanted to continue with a global team providing innovative solutions. I started as a Program Manager for our Keyless product range, called project Sampo back then. It has now been launched as the BEAT product family and has been a perfect learning spot with all the aspects of the protection of the critical infrastructure – I get to work with the best experts in mechanics, credentials, software and so on.
What do you love most about your role:
As the Head of Product Management, I am excited to continue the product journey from managing one product family to a full lifecycle management for our full portfolio of products. What I love most about my role is that I get to work with all aspects of the product: development, marketing, legal, and above all our customers represented by our CI regions.

What do you think makes ASSA ABLOY special:
For me what makes ASSA ABLOY special, is that I get to work with various organizations within ASSA ABLOY on a daily or weekly basis – this brings great visibility to cultures and opportunities within the group. We often reach for contacts in other parts the group for fruitful collaboration or just advice. In a big company you can find a specialist for every field, which is a great advantage.
What is your experience of Internal Mobility at ASSA ABLOY:
I’ve had the chance to grow with the product and the team, and we together have done plenty of good groundwork. I decided to take on new opportunities because I have found this is the best way to keep learning and keeping things interesting while using the lessons, I have learned along the way to impact change. Also, the timing for this new opportunity aligned with my personal life and was supportive to allow me greater flexibility with almost adult kids. In my case, the best part of progressing within ASSA ABLOY is that I get to continue with my favourite parts of my job – the team and products I had grown with. Knowing them beforehand helped to decide this was a change I was ready for.
