Tell us a bit about you
I began my journey at Biosite in June 2015 as a part of the first-line support team, this quickly evolved to support Biosite's install and service engineers. Increasing my knowledge, I later transitioned to a service engineer. This progression further led me to the role of Senior Service Engineer, where I played a pivotal role, resolving hardware and software issues and collaborating directly with engineering departments.
Recognizing the need for enhanced customer knowledge and engagement, I embraced the opportunity to become a Biosite Trainer. The expansion of the training team into the Training and Implementation Department, which I managed, marked another milestone in my journey. Most recently, I've taken on the role of Head of Professional Services, which has given me the opportunity to manage a software development team responsible for creating bespoke customer solutions and integrations. Additionally, I am involved in shaping system changes based on customer feedback, further refining the Biosite product range.
Throughout this journey, the environment at Biosite was unique in that it encouraged knowledge sharing between departments. This cross-functional collaboration allowed me to gain a deep understanding of our products, both from a hardware and software perspective. I've been guided by a commitment to continuous learning and a passion for contributing to Biosite's success.
